Of course, I'm again apologizing for not keeping this page up to date. But here are pictures of my freaking awesome kids and hubby. What happened to us in January and February? Audrey got a high chair (thanks Auntie Mac) and started to learn how to hold her own food and put it into her own mouth. Pretty soon she won't need her Mama anymore :-( We celebrated Hayli's 10th birthday on January 12th. I can't even put it into words how proud of her I am. She loves her sister to death and it is a beautiful bond to witness! We celebrated the big 1-0 with a steak dinner with the extended family and sushi at our favorite spot, Happy Sumo with our little clan. Audrey learned how to tuck her little knees under herself and scoot around. She also pushed out two little bottom teeth (fun times).

I started a new job with ConnectShare a business networking company. I'm the Utah County Area Administrator working with our clients in a customer service and event production role. I love the work but it is quite a bit of hours. However, I'm not complaining because it sure beats having to resort to serving so that I can be at home with Audrey. Now I work half from home and half out with my clients and so the daycare is affordable. Wow, I've missed having to use my brain at work. LOL!!!

Bill has been itching to get out into the yard and we are all excited for Spring. I'll get March and April pics up here soon. Until then, here are some cuties for you all.

We had a nice time just the family in front of my grandma's Christmas tree opening our stockings. Of course, this was Audrey's first Christmas and that was pretty special. She actually rolled over for the first time right there in front of the tree after we opened our stockings.

Pretty cool. This was her third time opening presents this week and they were all pretty much the same...she liked the paper more than the presents. LOL.

We were pretty sad when Grammy Lujan was sick and we couldn't visit her in Santa Barbara. So...instead we decided to go to Hollywood and take a look around. It was cold and windy but we had a good time. Saw some stars on the walk of stars, went to the wax museum and the guiness book of world records museum, and drove up to the Hollywood sign.

Wow! I had the great pleasure of being all together with my two best friends and their kids. We had a great time...AFTER we got the kids' pictures taken. It will be priceless to see that there aren't any pictures where one baby isn't crying, looking away or trying to touch the other babies. LOL Hayli did so good and I'm proud of her for sticking with it and smiling while all the babies are trying to crawl away or crying for their mommies.

This is one of my favorite traditions with my mom although I might have lost my marbles when I let Hayli invite her friends and have a sleep over. Last year we had five but this year we expanded to 9. But, it's not Christmas until you've made about a billion cookies and passed them out to your neighbors.

We had a great night and all the kids had fun. But with 9 of them they sure did have to learn how to take turns. They made some awesome cookies and decorated them so cute. We had gingerbread men, sugar cookie stars with frosting and sprinkles, sugar cookie candy canes. peanut butter kiss cookies, pretzel rolos, and thumbprints.

We had a great Halloween at Bill's parents house. Best of all the weather was pretty nice for the kids. They didn't really even need jackets. I'm so glad cuz is stinks when they have to bundle up over their costumes.

Ha ha. I put a little diaper on her for the picture. LOL Audrey did great for her check up even though she had to get shots and freeze her little bum on the scale. She weighed 15 lbs. 8 oz. and was a little longer than the average. Bill is hoping that means that she'll be his basketball player.

This one in the mirror is right after she had her shots in the leg. I looks like she is trying to ask that other baby is she had to get hurt too.

Auntie Mac came to visit for five days. It was so awesome to have her here. We did some fun stuff and spent a lot of time together. We took Hayli and Audrey to the zoo, went shopping, got the baby's ears pierced and took Hayli and her friends to Jumping Jacks for Fall Break.

Best: the zoo. Worst: holding Audrey down for the earring torture. I just held her and then closed my eyes! I couldn't watch. At least Auntie was there for moral support. Audrey was grumpy that day but the day afterward, no problems.

Two months already!!!

Audrey just had her two-month check up!! Wow time flies. You can see from the picture of her on the scale that she sure is growing fast and is a healthy baby. :-) I've gone back to work and this is a little challenging but so far I've gotten all good reports back from her babysitters. This must mean that I've got a good baby on my hands. Yea!!!!

Soon she'll be getting her ears pierced, she'll get a bouncing play seat and hopefully sleep through the night. That's what we'll be up to over here in the Moore house. We hope that you all are doing great.

Audrey Holds Her Head Up

So, here is the baby update.

First of all, her big sister rocks. Hayli is the biggest help with Audrey's little needs. I really love how she notices the littlest things about her. Like Tuesday she told me, "Baby girl will look at you if you use your baby voice." Too precious.

She is "saying" little things in her gooing baby language. Tummy time is getting better. She still doesn't like it very much but she isn't crying so that is always a good sign. She is getting really good about going back to sleep in the middle of the night without needing to be rocked. She holds her head up really good and likes to sit on your belly. Just discovered that there is a mirror in the middle of the mobile on her swing. Drools alot. Smiles when she farts. We are looking forward to when Auntie Mac visits us next month and getting her first set of professional pictures taken.

Today is her two month birthday!!!! Happy Birthday little one. Mommy loves you!!

Baby Blessing

Audrey was blessed yesterday by her Grandpa Bill. She was such a good girl all day and looked beautiful in her dress that Auntie Angela made for her. Thanks for Mom, Angela and Grandma Meyer who put together a great luncheon for everyone after the blessing. We all had a great time together as family.

What a beautiful experience it was to have so many of our family there to stand in the circle with her. It is amazing to me when I think how many blessings can come from righteous living. My heart was full of so much gratitude thinking of the choices that I've made that have lead up to this day. To think that Audrey is here because of a path of happiness and that there is only much more happiness to come!

Also, so proud of my Hayli who bore her testimony in church today for the first time!!! Good job honey. I know that President Monson is a true prophet too.

Audrey's 1 mo. birthday

Here is a picture post for Audrey's one month birthday. On one hand I can't believe how fast a month has already gone by because it just seems like yesterday that I was waking Bill up telling him that my water broke. On the other hand, now that she is here, it is hard to think about our life before her. It is almost like she was always here and the life before her was just pretend.

It is a split decision if she looks like me or Bill but I think that she is a nice blend of both of us. Time will tell I guess. Her eyes are still a little blue but also brown. She is very strong and will let you know how she wants to be held. Little rolls are starting on her thighs and they are soooo cute!! I can tell that she knows when bedtime is because she doesn't cry in the bath tub anymore and she starts to just fall asleep on her own around 8. Good girl! Now we will just begin working on less sleeping during the day and more sleeping at night. :-)

We are looking forward to her baby blessing when some family will be in town. She will be getting to meet her Auntie Teresa and her two cousins Maddie and Brianna!! Of course also Grandma B and Auntie Angela and Uncle Joe will be visiting again too as well as great grandma and grandpa Meyer.

Three week birthday

Here is a picture for Audrey's three week birthday. She is already getting so big it is kinda scary. I went over to Scott and Maran's this week to see their baby girls and it was so crazy to see how much bigger Audrey is than they are. That is what I get for having a 9 lb baby!! Everyday she gets stronger and is learning how to tell me what she wants...especially when it comes to eating. LOL.

Binkie Baby

Today was full of a few changes for our baby. I called the hospital and talked to a lactation specialist about the fact that Audrey is wanting to eat every hour. It makes me think that my breastmilk doesn't have good flow or I'm not making enough because she doesn't seem to be getting enough in each sitting to last her a few hours.

Anyway, so she took a bottle today that I had pumped and I'm going to start supplementing and see if that will get her to go longer between feedings. If so, I guess that I'm not making enough to keep up with her.

So in the midst of all of this feeding frenzy, Bill got her to take the binkie and tonight she even used it to fall asleep. Small step for Audrey, huge step for Mommy and Daddy. :-)

So I finally got over it and bathed her in the tub tonight. I've been paranoid about her sliding all around but the tub that she has comes with a little net for the baby to lay in while they are still little. It even has a pillow for her head. Awwww. I swear that she liked it right up until Bill tried to take her picture!! LOL

I seriously don't know how people survived without all of these modern contraptions like baby bath tubs, boppys, breast pumps, binkies, etc...

First day at church

Today we went to church for the first time since the baby has been born. She did very good and slept most of the time. She wore an outfit that Bill's grandma (Nanny) brought back from her recent vacation to England. Bill's mom's side of the family are all British and so here is our little Brit in her imported dress all ready for church. My favorite part of the outfit was the little knickers that came with it. Sooooo cute!!!

PS* Sorry Nanny but the hat and the booties are a little big for her now but I'm sure she'll use them when she gets a little bit bigger. :-)

Two week birthday

Here is Audrey's two week birthday picture. I think that this flower is still a little too big for her but I left it on anyway. I thought that it was still cute but Bill says it makes her look like the Chiquita banana lady. LOL!!

She sleeps great and that has made Mommy very happy. She loves her bouncer which I think is pretty obvious now since her one week and two week pictures are of her in it. :-)

We all can't wait to see if her eyes will turn out Lujan-brown or Moore-blue. Grandma Lesley hopes that they are brown making Audrey her first grandbaby with brown eyes.

This is officially the end of my first week home alone and we have both survived. She is a bit cranky between 1 and 7 but she sleeps all night for the most part so I can't complain if she tires herself out by fussing a bit.

Well...I think that's it.

One week birthday

Here is a photo from Audrey's 1 week birthday. We have to watch her close on the couch because she tries to roll over already!!! She is breastfeeding great and stretches out her neck and opens up her mouth when she is hungry (very subtle). :-)

She is sleeping very well in about a 7 hour stretch with only one feeding in the middle. Some of her newborn sized clothes don't fit her already. I know this is silly but she makes the most adorable face when she is pooping. And, she already does that Moore eyebrow crinkle which Dad, Grandpa and some Uncles and her Aunt Lindsay all do.

She hates wearing her mittens so I have been trimming her nails everyday while she is sleeping. She tries to hold her head up and does really good at it already until she gets tired and slumps it down again.

One week birthday means that Grandma B and Grandpa Kurt are leaving and so is Auntie Angela and Uncle Joe. Daddy goes back to work in a few days and Mommy will be all by herself! We are pretty sure that she can handle it. :-)

Audrey Olivia Moore

Welcome to the world Audrey Olivia Moore. Born July 18, 2009 at 2:18 p.m. weighing 9 lbs. 5 oz. and 20.5 inches long.

Your whole family has been anticipating your arrival for nine long months. Especially your sister Hayli who is so excited that she finally has a sibling. She has great plans for the two of you and can't wait until you get a little bigger so that the two of you can be best friends!

Mommy was so excited when her water broke at 12:30 a.m. on your due date! It has been really tough these last few weeks and your arrival has been heavily anticipated. Being a new Mom is scary but being in the last few week of pregnancy is nearly unbearable. :-)

All was worth it when you entered the world after 14 hours of labor and we got to meet you and see your beautiful face with those chubby, chubby cheeks. Considering what a big baby you were, you cooperated and came right out after only 10 minutes of pushing. Good girl!!!!!

Some distinguishing characteristics about you that Daddy and Mommy determined in just the few days of your life are that you are very strong, a little stubborn and look like a Moore (poor bugger, j/k).

Audrey, Mommy and Daddy want you to know that we waited a long time for the right time for you to come into this world. We love each other very much and because of that love, you are here. Family is the most important thing and we hope that throughout your life that you will rely on your family when you need comfort, love, help, support or joy because we promise to always be here to give it to you.

Hayli's Gymnastics Recital

Hayli has been doing gymnastics now for about four years. She really likes it and even though most of the kids are taking the summer off, she is still going every week because she says that it is "more fun than guitar lessons". :-)

For Jerilynn's baby shower I decided to spend a week in the home town. It was awesome to catch up with friends and family especially since my baby belly was nice and round.

The week was awesome but it is the first time that Bill and I were away from each other since we got married and so that part was harder that either of us thought that it would be.

I'm Back!!!

Okay, I totally admit that I have been a bad blogger!! Bill and I are really settled into the new house and we are also adjusting to being new parents. But, the old apartment didn't have internet and now we have it all working properly in the new place. (PS* photo tour of our first home to come in a following post)

So, I have rededicated myself to the blog to that I can show off my new baby and of course keep in touch with all of you!

Let's start off with a quick update since the last post.

1. Bill and I bought a home in Springville which is about 10 miles from the old apartment in Pleasant Grove. To KIT our address is 181 West 750 North Springville, UT 84663. We LOVE it!! The whole process was exhausting spending all of our spare time out with our realtor. But, it paid off when we found our 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom two-story in a quiet neighborhood with a park on the corner. Bill and I both have only 12 minute commutes to work. The house has flooring upgrades that we love like beautiful tile and new carpet. We also really liked the size of our yard (not too big, not too small) and are working on changing out some of the landscaping.

2. My pregnancy went very well. The only thing that I really had to complain about was swollen feet and heartburn. Towards the end I was very uncomfortable and so sleeping was a bit difficult but that is to be expected. I think that the last month or so is so horrible and uncomfortable so that you start to not care that labor will be very painful, you just want to get the baby out! :-)

3. Hayli is doing great with her summer activities. We added swimming lessons and guitar and she is really enjoying both. To come will be photos of her recent gymnastics recital.

4. Audrey Olivia Moore was born on July 18th (her due date!!!) at 2:18 pm (14 hours of labor) and weighed a whopping 9 pounds and 5 ounces. She was 20.5 inches long. My water broke at 12:30 in the morning and we arrived at the hospital at 1:30 am. I was still only dialated to a 1. It took pitosin (sp) and about 12 hours to get from a 1 to a 5. But from noon 'til 2 I went from 5 to 10. For a big baby she came right out with only about 10 minutes of pushing. Present for the miracle was of course my very supportive (and a little nervous) husband Bill, my mom, and Bill's mom. Hayli came it right after so she could see her sister fresh out of the belly. Of course photos of our precious girl to follow on more posts.

So, with that recap, I'll sign off and again let all of you know that I'll be doing a better job in the future of keeping up with all of the blogging. Also going to join Facebook so I can check all of you out there too.

It's a Girl!

We had our ultrasound today and found out that we are having a Baby Girl! Hayli is very excited to be a big sister.

We also just went into the loan process for our new house this week. Very exciting!! In about a month we should close and move into our first home. Pictures will follow soon. One thing is for sure...the baby's room currently has sports wallpaper and blue walls...that will need to change!!

I'M PREGNANT!!

Bill and I are so happy that our family of three is soon expanding to a family of FOUR!

We were VERY surprised in October to learn that I was indeed expecting our first child.

On the 5th we had our first appointment with the doctor and were so blessed to be able to hear our baby's heartbeating. What a miracle!

Our bundle is due on July 18th so that puts me in my 14th week this week. So far, the sickness has been pretty bad but I've managed to keep my puking to a minimum and the doctor says that's good and he's happy with my weight gain. I'm two weeks into the second trimester and happy to report that the nausea has subsided quite a bit, however, the heartburn and sleeplessness are still worthy opponents. :-)

Congratualtions also to my sister-in-law who is also pregnant and due only a week after I am. Also, congrats to my best friend Jerilynn who is also expecting and about two months farther along than I am. And...also...to my cousin Scott and his wife Maran who are expecting twins in August. It's a full on epedemic.

For those of you far away...I'll see you in the Spring as I'll be coming out to LA for Jer's baby shower which will probably be in April. Yeah!! See you then!!

To celebrate Hayli's birthday we went out to dinner to one of her favorite resturaunts, Los Hermanos. We also celebrated with Bill's family on Sunday with pizza and cake and some gifts.

She got a new CD player for her room with a few CD's to add to her collection that she got at Christmas time. Her favorite was the new Taylor Swift CD because she LOVES her new song "Love Story". She is a big time singer and loves to play it over and over singing it over and over!

We also watched Kung Fu Panda after school because me and her had not seen it yet. That was fun.

At the end of the day, she proved what a great kid she is and reminded us that even though it is her birthday she still had to practice writing her spelling words and do her 20 mins of reading. So I'm very proud to announce she got a perfect score on her practice spelling test and is up to Chapter 10 in the Tale of Desperaux (which I might enjoy reading as much as she does).

I managed to pull off a surprise party for Bill's 31st birthday. We had dinner with friends and family at PF Changs.

A Day With The Kids

I love Saturdays because that is usually when I get to take Hayli out with some of our friends who have kids her age.

This picture is of my friend Lisa's girls Madyson and Sydney with Hayli in the back and her son Brady with my neighbor's son Jax in the front. We all went our for pizza and then to the mall where the kids love to ride the carousel and play in the giant jungle playland.

It is perfect because Hayli is a little younger than Mad and a little older than Syd. They love to play together. Latter that night the girls all slept over at our house. They begged me to let them "go camping" in the living room so I set up the tent and they had a ball pretending the living room was the forrest. :-)

Bike Fest Trip to Colorado

What an adventure this trip was!!

This was the first camping trip that Bill and I have taken on the bike. The packing part was very interesting but lucky for us we didn't have to leave too many essentials behind because one of our friends was having his wife drive with us in a car.

We were out near the four corners of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. This is a beautiful part of the country. Each day we took beautiful rides either out to the desert or up in the mountains. See my pictures below but it doesn't do it justice!!!

We were there three days and on the fourth day rode home. Only to get a FLAT TIRE about 30 mins into our five hour ride. It was Sunday and we were 5 miles outside of a tiny little mapdot town. To make matters worse...it started raining!! We were saved about three hours later when my uncle drove about two hours to come and get us in his truck!

Then...as we drove home from my uncle's house (tire patched) it POURED rain on us through the canyon that leads to our house!!

By the time we got home we were happy to be alive (it is quite difficult to see in the dark when it is raining) and to get warm. Despite our leathers and rain gear we were both soaked from head to toe! Thank goodness that we were riding with a friend or it might have been even more scary.

That was a trip that we both will never forget. We will think twice before taking anymore long trips at the end of the season!! Rain is a b***h!!

We went down to Mesquite on the bike and stayed at the Casa Blanca. On the way home we went to Zion Canyon and the Grand Canyon. Then the last day was a nice ride up the highway that parallels I-15 through Southern Utah. Awesome trip!!

Hi Everyone!

It has been way too long since I entered anything here but I have been a bit distracted. Here are the cliff notes on what we've been up to since the BIG MOVE and the BIG DAY. :-)

1. Utah is just as beautiful as I remember it.

2. I'm now an independent agent with Aflac and I LOVE it. Sales has its challenges but Aflac is a wonderful opportunity and I am very excited about our product! I've already met many of my goals and love meeting new people every day.

3. Bill & Hayli have lived through my cooking for two and a half months and they are doing well. We have a thriving little family in the making here. We cherish our time together and Hayli lights up my life so much. Bill and I are so happy about our decision to stay in Utah where we can be near her all the time.

4. The wedding was so beautiful and all that I had dreamed of!! My dress was so beautiful and the whole day was awesome. Flowers were gorgeous, weather beautiful, photographer amazing and love was in the air. What an unforgetable feeling to stand across from Bill and enter into a brand new life together!!! Loving married life. WEDDING PHOTOS BELOW!!!! :-)

5. Honeymoon -- Rode the bike down to Mesquite for poolside relaxing, blackjack and sleeping late. Then went home via Zion Canyon, Grand Canyon and small towns on Hwy. 89 then off to a family reunion camping in eastern Utah also on the bike.

6. Plans for the rest of the summer: Matt & Lisa's wedding in Cali, meeting Kristin and Christian's twins who arrived on Friday, riding out to a bike rally in Colorado with friends.

Engagement Party

Hi there Friends and Family!
We had a great time at our engagement party on Saturday! I'm super excited to open all our gifts so thanks in advance to all of our fabulous friends. We love ya! Photos of the party will follow sometime when I get around to it. :-)

Crazy that I haven't written for a month but not so crazy considering that I'm pretty swamped with the rest of my life. :-) So, here is a quick update...

1. Bachelorette party rocked! I have the best friends ever! We went to this awesome sing-a-long bar Howl at the Moon that we love. My idea of a good time is definitely singing Bon Jovi songs at the top of my lungs.
2. Only two more weeks left of school!
3. My dress is here and I have a final fitting scheduled for May 30th.
4. The invitations went out!!! They turned out perfect and I'm so happy. PS** Please RSVP!!
5. The BIG MOVE is planned for Memorial Day weekend. I am so excited!! Me and Hayli are already planning how to make Bill's apartment more homey with some decorations.
6. And finally...looking, looking, looking for a job!

I had a wonderful time at my Bridal Shower on Saturday thanks entirely to my bridesmaids and my guests. Jer, Kristin, Lisa and Shan did a wonderful job putting together a great afternoon. Several people told me how cute the decor and activities were!! Three cheers for fabulous friends.

Thanks also to everyone who made it out and to those to wished that they could have. I received several really nice gifts. Your thoughtfulness means alot to me. Everyone is very busy these days so thanks for making it out; especially to those of you who had to travel a few hours to be there.

Missing you in California

Hello everyone -
Ever since Bill and Hayli went home to Utah I have been missing them so much! We had such a fun time while they were here for 5 days on vacation. I have to say that I have the best fiancee ever and the best future-step-daughter too. Bill has been hanging in there so well while I finish my last semester at CSUN and I'm so thankful that I have him to support me in all of the things that I do. How lucky I am that I will have a husband who stands by my decisions even when it means that he has to sacrifice.

What a trying year this has been and as our wedding day approaches my love for Bill grows more and more! It has taken us some time to find the right time to start our future together, but, now that it is here I wouldn't wish for anything else in my life. I know that he has been struggling out there in Utah by himself and so I wanted to write this blog to tell him THANKS!! I am thankful for you babe!! I love you so much! This long-distance has made our love for each other so strong, but I'll be so happy when our long year is over and I am able to walk down the aisle and become your wife.

California Vacation

We had great fun while Bill and Hayli were here to visit me! Of course I packed as much adventure as I could into our five days together.

First stop - Disneyland!! The park was not too crowded so we were able to ride just about all the rides we wanted (except Space Mountain). Even some of our favorites twice, like Pirates and Splash Mountain and the Matterhorn. We have figured out how to go on Splash Mountain without getting wet so if you care to stay dry don't sit in the front. :-) We were there about eleven hours and the only photo we took of all three of us is at the very end of the day so we don't look the happiest but we did have a very happy time.

We also went to Grandma B's house for her big 5-0 birthday!! Happy Birthday Mom!!No photos...but we went to Mountaisia to ride go-carts and play video games. That was lots of fun even though there was a Laker game on we went anyway. Bill ran over two kids on the go-carts and was about to get suspended from the track. And I thought that I was the competitive one. :-)

We also did our engagement pictures on the beach in Malibu so you can all look forward to those pictures soon too and of course you'll see our favorite ones in your invitation to the wedding. (Coming up 6/28 - I can't wait!!!) It was so much fun and I think we got some great shots. I have a fabulous photographer that I work with here and if you care to see what she is about her link is to the left (Meghan Aileen).

Last we paid Grammy Lujan a visit since her health won't allow her to make it to the wedding. I will really cherish this photo that we took.

Hayli's Baptism

We are very proud of our little girl who is not so little anymore. She made a very important choice this weekend to be baptized.

Bill and I could not be happier to have her sweet spirit in our family.

Hayli had so much family there to support her and we want to thank everyone for coming, especially those that had to travel quite a ways to be with us.

Who knew that three girls who have known each other for practically forever could go out to lunch for three hours!! What on earth to talk about?? Me, Kris and Jer had our "Christmas Lunch" as tradition for the past few years now. We had a lot to talk about since Kristin popped the news that her and Christian are pregnant!! Yea!! I'm so excited for them! Since then, it has been confirmed that there are two babies in there! TWINS!

Hayli's 8th Birthday

Hayli celebrated her 8th birthday on January 12th and I was in Utah to celebrate with her and Bill. We had lunch at Red Robin, then played arcades and went bowling at Fat Cats. For dinner we went to Tepanyaki and finished it all off with a milkshake from Arctic Circle.

The best part about bowling was that we all got better on the second game. I love the picture that Hayli took of me and Bill. Great shot Sweetie!

On Sunday, we were at Grandma and Grandpa Moore's and celebrated with cupcakes and birthday presents!! She got her first set of scriptures from Grandma and Grandpa.

We are looking forward to her baptism on March 1st!

Our Family Christmas

I love Christmas and it was so much fun to get our first tree as a family and decorate it. We made Santa some cookies and Hayli did a great job with the frosting writing "Happy Christmas" to Santa on his cookies. They must have been pretty good because he ate almost all of them.

We celebrated Christmas at Thanksgiving with Angela, Joe, Jeff and Mom. It was fun and yummy! Christmas we spent with Bill's family having the Gordon Family's traditional Christmas Eve family party. That was really neat. I met everyone and that was super fun. Then Christmas morning Bill made Hayli and I a big breakfast and then we went over to Bill and Lesley's for more yummy food and family togetherness.

The best part was that we had a white Christmas with about two inches of snow Christmas Eve.

We're engaged!!!!

I am the happiest girl in the world. Bill got down on one knee and everything! We are so in love and it is so exciting to be engaged. We were both joking about getting into a new habit of calling each other fiance instead of boyfriend and girlfriend. :-)

I just want to tell him how happy I am and what a truly precious moment it was to tell him that I would "Yes!" marry him. The best part was that Hayli was there with us and his whole family to share in our happiness. I just hope that they forgive me for crying like a big boob!

Halloween

Hayli and I made mean jack-o-lanterns for Halloween! One was freestyle and the other was a ghost with our name in it. Bill did all the heavy lifting but did not want to help us dig out the seeds and squishy innerds. We did however, get to make a pumpkin pie from scratch. First attempt for me and I have to say that it needed some more...something...sugar maybe. But for a first try and no real recipe it came out alright.
